Bank of America Leaders Program
Bank of America is hosting a Student Leaders Program this summer for juniors and seniors. The program includes an 8-week paid internship and acceptance to a Student Leadership Summit in Washington, DC. Apply at bankofamerica.com/neistudentleaders. Deadline is Feb. 17. Stop by counseling for more information.

So you want to be a lawyer?
The University of Missouri-Kansas City is sponsoring the "So You Want to Be a Lawyer" program. The event is scheduled for Feb. 6. Additional information is available in the BHS counseling office.

KSU to host Engineering Day
Kansas State University will host Engineering Day Feb. 1. Visit the BHS counseling office for more information.

College visits
Area colleges are planning to visit Belton High School to visit with seniors. The upcoming visits include:

Feb. 12 -- Baker University
Feb. 25 -- University of Central Missouri

All visits will take place in the counseling conference room from 10:15 to10:45 a.m., unless specified. Students are asked to get a pass from the counseling office beforehand, in order to be released from class.

Weekend of Engineering
Attention ladies that are interested in engineering-Kansas University is hosting a Weekend of Engineering. This is a camp that gives you interaction with current students in the program and experience campus life at KU. Come by counseling if interested. The date is March 6-7, 2010

Journalism/poster contest
Students interested participating in either or both a journalism or poster contest sponsored by the State of Missouri Governor’s Council on Disability should visit counseling or ask Mrs. Berger, Mrs. Evans, or Mr. Carter for more information.
