The Belton School District's Elementary Library Media Centers consist of six state-of-the-art facililities in each of the district's elementary schools. Each library is staffed by a media specialist and an assistant to help students and staff find and utilize a variety of media resources.

Hall of Fame

Five individuals were honored for their outstanding professional and personal achievements Saturday, Sept. 20 when they were inducted into the Belton High School Hall of Fame.
Inductees in for 2008 included Joe Bill Looney, class of 1946; Walter Bargen, class of 1966; Patte Klaus Schreihofer, class of 1967; James Person, class of 1976; and Wayne Westerman, Ph.D., class of 1991.

No school Oct. 13

There will be no school in the Belton School District on Monday, Oct. 13 to allow staff to participate in professional development activities.
